At Holisan, every care pathway begins with a comprehensive urological consultation. This initial consultation is designed to confirm the diagnosis, assess the patient’s eligibility, review previous treatments and discuss the potential role of PRP injections, alone or in combination with hyaluronic acid.
When treatment is considered appropriate, an individualised protocol is proposed within a clearly defined medical framework. On the day of treatment, a blood sample is taken and processed according to a specific centrifugation protocol to prepare the PRP used for the injection.
Following the procedure, clinical follow-up is an integral part of the care pathway. Outcomes are documented at defined follow-up points, particularly at 3, 6 and 12 months, to monitor clinical progress over time in real-world practice.
